Sensex steady; breadth extremely +ve
The NSE Nifty is up 117 points at 4,105.
Jaiprakash Associates and Reliance Infrastructure have soared 6% each to Rs 167 and Rs 801, respectively.
ICICI Bank has surged 5.7% to Rs 628. Reliance Communications and ITC has rallied 5.3% each to Rs 438 and Rs 181, respectively.
TCS has moved up nearly 5% to Rs 867. HDFC Bank and Maruti have advanced around 4.5% each to Rs 1,046 and Rs 594, respectively.

BHEL, Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors and DLF have gained around 4% each at Rs 1,560, Rs 741, Rs 392 and Rs 446, respectively.
Grasim and Larsen & Toubro are up over 3.5% each at Rs 1,732 and Rs 2,484, respectively.
Hindalco has slipped 1% to Rs 144.
The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 2,093 stocks traded, 1,654 have advanced, 392 have declined and 47 are unchanged.
