The Sensex after moving sideways has erased some of its gains. The index is now at 15,526, up 60 points.
The NSE Nifty is at 4,631, up 22 points.
The BSE Realty and the metal indices are up 1.5% each at 3,306 and 4,258, respectively.
Reliance Communications has advanced 4.5% to Rs 289.
Sterlite has added 3% to Rs 654 and Sun Pharma has increased 2% to Rs 1,215.
Tata Steel, ICICI Bank, Reliance Infrastructure and DLF have over 1% each to Rs 422, Rs 746, Rs 1,135 and Rs 416, respectively.
Tata Power has slipped 1% to Rs 1,269.
The market breadth is extremely positive, out of 2,543 shares traded, 1,556 advanced and 891 have declined so far on the BSE.
