The Sensex is steady and now up 168 points at 9,259.
Reliance Infrastructure has surged 4.5% to Rs 543, and Jaiprakash Associates has moved up nearly 4% to Rs 71.
TCS and DLF have gained around 3.5% each at Rs 500 and Rs 144, respectively.
Ranbaxy and Tata Motors have rallied 3.3% each to Rs 216 and Rs 136, respectively.
Tata Steel and Mahindra & Mahindra have advanced 3% each to Rs 187 and Rs 275, respectively.
Grasim, ICICI Bank, Reliance and Reliance Communications have added 2.3% each to Rs 1,357, Rs 400, Rs 1,316 and Rs 163, respectively.
Sterlite, however, has slipped 1.7% to Rs 259.
