Sensex up 181pts; Rel Energy gains 4%

The Sensex is now up 181 points at 15,876.

The NSE Nifty is up 50 points at 4,783.

Reliance Energy has surged nearly 4% to Rs 1,301. Jaiprakash Associates has rallied 2% to Rs 217.

Larsen & Toubro, Ranbaxy and BHEL have moved up 1.6% each to Rs 2,722, Rs 458 and Rs 1,793, respectively.

DLF, ICICI Bank and Reliance have advanced 1.4% each to Rs 609, Rs 812 and Rs 2,503, respectively.
