Sensex up 443pts; Reliance Infra zooms 13%

The Sensex is now up 443 points at 10,231.

Reliance Infrastructure has zoomed over 13% to Rs 517. Tata Motors has soared 11.5% to Rs 192.

DLF, ICICI Bank, SBI and HDFC have rallied around 10% each to Rs 243, Rs 439, Rs 1,219 and Rs 1,936, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro and Hindalco have surged around 8.5% each to Rs 875 and Rs 65, respectively.

Maruti, Jaiprakash Associates and Tata Steel have advanced over 7% each to Rs 605, Rs 77 and Rs 225, respectively.

Ranbaxy has moved up 5.5% to Rs 179. Bharti Airtel, NTPC and Grasim are up 4.5% each at Rs 678, Rs 147 and Rs 1,071, respectively.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,510 stocks traded, 1,861 have advanced, 589 have declined and 60 are unchanged.
