The NSE Nifty is now at 4,826, up 12 points.
Hero Honda has slipped over 3% to Rs 1,577. DLF, Mahindra & Mahindra have declined 1.5% each to Rs 413 and Rs 825, respectively.
Among the Nifty losers, Cairn India and Hindalco have shed nearly 3% each to Rs 262 and Rs 117, respectively.
ICICI Bank is the top gainer among the frontliners. The scrip has surged 3.5% to Rs 819.
Sterlite and Tata Steel have rallied 3.5% each to Rs 773 and Rs 475, respectively.
Tata Motors and Infosys have advanced over 2% each to Rs 569 and Rs 2,240, respectively.
BHEL, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communications, HDFC Bank have gained over 1% each.
Among the Nifty stocks, Siemens has gained nearly 4% to Rs 527.
