Silver futures gain 0.2% on higher global trend
Prices gained as speculators enlarged their positions
A trader displays silver ornaments inside his shop in Ahmedabad Press Trust of India New Delhi Silver futures for July rose by Rs 96, or 0.21% to Rs 45,880 per kg in 1,008 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the May contract traded higher by Rs 41, or 0.09% to Rs 45,215 per kg in 4,616 lots.
Prices gained as speculators enlarged their positions supported by pick-up spot market demand.
Firm global trend also supported the trade.
In Singapore, silver gained 0.3% to $24.47 an ounce.
