Smart Portfolios: Bajpai adds Edelweiss

The second part of the day was without any significant activity. Vinay Khattar, Ajay Parmar and Siddarth Bhamre continued to remain on the sidelines while Shishir Bajpai bought 1500 shares worth Rs 96,900 of Edelweiss Capital at the rate of Rs 64.50.

Shishir Bajpai has booked profits in select trades in an over-all subdued market today. The Sensex is trading down 68 points at 20,235. Nifty is down 18 points at 6,087.

Shishir Bajpai, Senior Vice President, IIFL Private Wealth has invested over Rs 1 lakh each in Ahmednagad Forgings and Indiabulls Real Estate. Meanwhile, he has sold JSW Holdings, Pipavav Shipyard and Tata Steel. He has booked a substantial profit of 15% in Pipavav Shipyard and 7.4% in JSW Holdings. However, he has booked a loss of 2.8% on his investments in Tata Steel.

Vinay Khattar, Head - Research, WAIS, Edelweiss, Ajay Parmar, Head Research Institutional Equities, Emkay and Siddarth Bhamre, Angel Broking, Head - Equity Derivatives are on the sidelines so far.
