Smart Portfolios: Bhamre buys MTNL

Siddarth Bhamre was active in the second half of the day. He executed eight trades, five on the sell side. He sold KEC International, BEML and OnMobile Global for a gain of 1-2% each. However, he booked a nominal loss of 0.6% on his investment in Jyoti Structures.

On the other hand, Bhamre has added MTNL, Oriental Bank of Commerce and Century Textiles to his portfolio.

Meanwhile, Vinay Khattar added 39 more shares of Donear Industries, while offload 10 more shares of Reliance Communications.

Shishir Bajpai, in late noon trades, exited from Ajmera Realty & Infra for a nominal loss of around Rs 900.

The trading activity in Smart Portfolios is slightly subded so far today. Shishir Bajpai and Vinay Khattar are the only two active fund managers.

Shishir Bajpai, Senior Vice President, IIFL Private Wealth, has bought Everest Kanto and Jindal Saw in trades so far. On the other hand, Bajpai has sold Gitanjali Gems and ONGC. He has booked 9% profit on his investment in Gitanjali Gems while he sold off ONGC for mere notional gains of 0.8%.

Vinay Khattar, Head - Research, WAIS, Edelweiss, has invested over Rs 90,000 in Donear Industries, the stock is up over 1% at Rs 46.70. Meanwhile, he has booked a loss of 3% on his investment in Reliance Communications.

Ajay Parmar, Head Research Institutional Equities, Emkay and Siddarth Bhamre, Angel Broking, Head - Equity Derivatives are on the sidelines so far.
