Smart Portfolios: Khattar buys Subex

Vinay Khattar  was the only person to trade in the second half of the day. He bought 1320 shares of  Subex Ltd at the price of Rs.75.90 totalling to a little over a lakh. On the other hand, he sold off 2875 shares of Bal Pharma incurring a slight loss of 0.4%

Shishir Bajpai is in bullish mode this morning as his four out of six trades are on the buy side. The Sensex is subdued and trades down 60 points at 20,161. Nifty is down 32 points at 6,052.

Shishir Bajpai, Senior Vice President, IIFL Private Wealth has invested over Rs 1 lakh each in JSW Steel and Tata Steel this morning. He has also bought shares of Indiabulls Real Estate and Ajmeta Realty & Infra India. Metals and reality sector looks good at current levels, says Bajpai.

Bajpai has sold Nagarjuna Chemicals and Orchid Chemicals. He has booked a substantial profit of 11.3% in Orchid Chemicals. However, he has booked a marginal loss of 2.7% on his investments in Nagarjuna Chemicals.

Vinay Khattar, Head - Research, WAIS, Edelweiss, Ajay Parmar, Head Research Institutional Equities, Emkay and Siddarth Bhamre, Angel Broking, Head - Equity Derivatives are on the sidelines so far.
