Soybean up 1.3% on firm global cues

July contract prices also looked up by 1.07%.

Soyabean prices improved by Rs 48.50 to Rs 3775.50 per quintal in futures trade today, following increased buying by speculators in line with firm global cues.
    
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soybean price for current June contract improved by Rs 48.50, or 1.30%, to Rs 3,775.50 per quintal, with an open interest of 13,400 lots.
    
Most active near July contract prices also looked up by Rs 40, or 1.07%, to Rs 3,793 per quintal, depicting an open interest of 71,970 lots.
