Shares of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) major ITC, pharmaceutical giant Sun Pharmaceutical and private sector bank, HDFC Bank have hit their respective lifetime highs in morning trades on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
Sun Pharma has surged 4.7% to Rs 644.80, ITC has rallied almost 3% to Rs 258.50 and HDFC Bank by around 2% at Rs 558 on the NSE.
All these three stocks have outperformed the market by rising between 28-31% so far in current calendar year 2012, compared to 12% gain in the benchmark index Nifty.
