Sugar dips on lower buying

Sugar prices moved down at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to lower retail offtake coupled with higher stocks position.

Medium Sugar (M-30) fell by Rs 5/7 per quintal to Rs 2,791/2901 from overnight closing level Rs 2,798/2,906.  

Small Sugar (S-30) also edged down by Rs 4 per quintal to Rs 2,750/2,821 as compared to Rs 2,750/2,825 yesterday.

Medium sugar (M-30) quality Rs 2,791/2,901 (Rs 2,798/ 2,906) and Small sugar (S-30) quality Rs 2,750/2,821 (Rs 2,750/2,825)
