Sugar drifts on lower stockists buying
Sugar prices eased at the Vashi wholesale market here today on fall in demand from stockists and retailers.
Medium sugar quality (M-30) dipped by Rs 20 per quintal to Rs 2,610/2,680 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 2,630/2,700.
Small sugar quality (S-30) also moved down by Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 2,590/2,630, as against Rs 2,590/2,640 last weekend.
