TCS is trading higher by 1.3% at Rs 1,208, extending its Monday’s 2% gain, after the company inked a multi-year, multi-million euro contract with European car rental company Europcar for deployment of IT services in France. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
"This partnership is part of the development of a strategic relationship with industry leading companies in France. It reiterates TCS' strategic commitment to the region and our ability to create operating models specific to the unique needs of our French clients," TCS France Director and Country Head Kumar Narayanan said.
A combined 20,000 shares have changed hands on the counter in morning deals on both the exchanges.
