Three stocks – Zenith Exports, SORIL Holdings and Ventures and Sadhana Nitrochem – have seen their market price surge up to 400% in the past one month.
While Zenith Exports has gained 376% from Rs 39 to Rs 186 levels, SORIL Holdings and Ventures has surged 138% to Rs 559 (Rs 235) and Sadhana Nitrochem is up by 100% at Rs 458 (Rs 229) on the BSE.
SORIL Holdings and Ventures and Sadhana Nitrochem were trading at their record highs, while Zenith Exports quoting at multi-year high on the BSE. These stocks are trading under ‘T’ and ‘Z’ segments, where no speculative trading is allowed and delivery of shares and payment of consideration amount are mandatory.
Zenith Exports is locked in an upper circuit for the 21st straight trading day, and has gained nearly 400% during this period. The company had posted net profit of Rs 1.7 million for nine months ended December 2017, as against a net loss of Rs 8.1 million during the same period last year.
Zenith Exports manufactures and exports industrial leather hand-gloves and handloom silk fabrics. It has ite-ups with many silk weavers in and around Bhagalpur, Varanasi and Bangalore to manufacture silk fabric on a job-work basis.
SORIL Holdings and Ventures, formerly known as Indiabulls Wholesale Services, too hit an upper circuit for the third straight trading day, up 5% at Rs 559 on the BSE. The company operates in purchase, sale, dealing, construction and development of real estate projects and reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 473 million in March 2018 quarter (Q4FY18). It had posted profit of Rs 61 million in the same quarter year ago and net loss of Rs 163 million in a previous quarter.
Sadhana Nitrochem, locked in upper circuit for the sixth straight trading session, has reported net profit of Rs 219 million for Q4FY18, as compared to a net profit of Rs 12 million during the previous corresponding fiscal. Revenue from operations surged three-fold at Rs 514 million, as against Rs 193 million previous year quarter.
