Transformers and Rectifiers (India) rose 1% to Rs 96 at 10:35 IST on BSE after the company said it has achieved the highest ever production of 20,650 megavolt ampere in the financial year ended March 2014.

The company made the announcement during trading hours today, 3 April 2014.

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 30.93 points, or 0.14%, to 22,520.56.

On BSE, so far 2,062 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 3,057 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 96.70 and a low of Rs 93 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 129.09 on 2 May 2013. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 54.40 on 10 October 2013.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 2 April 2014, rising 21.78% compared with the Sensex's 6.78% rise. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, rising 10.59% as against Sensex's 7.96% rise.

The small-cap company has an equity capital of Rs 13.26 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) (TRIL) said it has achieved the highest ever production of 20,650 megavolt ampere (MVA) for the financial year ended March 2014 (FY2014) as against the production of 13,217 MVA in the previous year.

The company said it continuously thrives to deliver quality products and services and over a period of time has become a leading manufacturer of transformers in the country.

TRIL's net profit declined 69.3% to Rs 1.15 crore on 71.8% growth in net sales to Rs 190.41 crore in Q3 December 2013 over Q3 December 2012.

Transformers & Rectifiers (India) manufactures a wide range of transformers for the domestic and the international market. The company has executed a number of prestigious orders from developed countries such as Canada and the United Kingdom.
