The stock opened at Rs 3,300 and hit a low of Rs 3,173 on the NSE. A combined 32,181 shares have changed hands on the counter so far on both the exchanges.
Operating profit of the company however, declined by 13% year-on-year at Rs 44.39 crore in July-September (Q2) quarter, while margins contracted by over 200 points to 12.84% from 15.16% over the previous year quarter.
The company’s total income from operations grew by 2.97% at Rs 346 crore against Rs 336 crore, the houseware maker said in a statement.
