Exports rise 18 per cent in April-November.

Tyre production continued to rise in November due to a sharp increase in automobile sales, especially of cars and two-wheelers. In November, the production increased 19 per cent to 567,667 tyres, from 476,398 tyres in the same month of 2009.

The cumulative production in the eight-month period (April-November) of the current financial year increased 26 per cent, according to the latest data of the Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Association (Atma).
