A firm trend prevailed in the wholesale foodgrains market here with prices of urad dal, moong dal and gram dal posting gains during the week ended today.
The prices of toor dal, sugar, wheat and maida remained unchanged while sooji declined marginally.
Urad dal opened the week at Rs 6,200 per quintal against its previous week's closing of Rs 6,000 and ended the week at Rs 6,300, showing a net gain of Rs 300.
Moong dal and gram dal firmed up by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 6,300 and Rs 3,400 from its last week's closing rate of Rs 6,200 and Rs 3,300, respectively.
Sooji (90 kg) declined to Rs 1,750 from Rs 1,800.
