The Asian markets have ended in red, ahead of the US jobs data.
The Hang Seng shed 201 points (1%) at 18,178. The Nikkei dropped 64 points to 9,876.
The Straits Times slipped 35 points (1.5%) to 2,317. The Seoul Composite was unchanged at 1,411.
However, the Taiwan Composite and the Shanghai Composite added 1.5% each to 6,668 and 3,060, respectively.

Asian markets are flat ahead of the US job data.
The Hang Seng has gained 288 points (1.5%) at 18,667. The Nikkei is unchanged at 9,940.
The Taiwan Weighted has added 104 points (1.5%) to 6,683. The Shanghai Composite is up 42 points (1.5%) at 3,050.
Meanwhile, the Seoul Composite and the Straits Times are flat with a negative bias. While the former has slipped four points to 1,407, the latter is down five points at 2,347.
