VST Tillers Tractors extends rally on HDFC MF stake buys

The stock rallied 14% in past four trading days after HDFC MF acquired about 150,000 shares through open market.

VST Tillers Tractors is trading higher by 3% at Rs 680, extending its over 10% rally in past three trading sessions, after HDFC Mutual Fund acquired about 150,000 shares through open market.

The stock opened at Rs 675 and touched high of Rs 696, also its record high on the BSE.  A combined around 21,000 shares have changed hands on the counter till 1125 hours on the NSE and BSE.

On December 3, HDFC Mutual Fund had acquired a total 147,587 shares representing 1.71% total equity of VST Tillers Tractors for Rs 8.80 crore through two bulk deals on the NSE and BSE.

The fund house purchased 72,508 shares of VST Tillers Tractors at Rs 596 on the BSE, while HDFC Trustee Co. Ltd. A/C. HDFC Prudence Fund acquired 75,079 shares at Rs 596 on the NSE, the bulk deal data shows. The name of sellers has not disclosed by the company.
