Wall St, ADRs end mixed

The Wall Street ended on a mixed note. The Dow Industrial Average index was down 26 points at 8,579. The Nasdaq was up 12 points at 1,564.

The Indian ADRs, too, ended on a mixed note. Tata Motors zoomed 11.5% to $49.3, and Dr.Reddy's soared 6.6% to $10.28. Genpact, Sterlite, Wipro and ICICI Bank moved up 1-4% each.

On the other hand, Tata Communications plunged 5.3% to $21.48, and Satyam shed 4.7% at $7.83. Patni Computers dropped 2.4% to $5.68, and HDFC Bank declined 1.7% to $71.67.
