Wall St slips; ADRs in red

The Wall Street ended in red on Tuesday. The Dow Industrial Average index plunged 243 points to 8,691. The Nasdaq shed 24 points at 1,547.

Indian ADRs, too, ended significantly in red. Genpact slumped 6% to $7.46. HDFC Bank tumbled 4.4% to $61.13, and Infosys plunged 3.7% to $24.93. Sterlite, Satyam, Patni Computers, ICICI Bank, MTNL and Tata Motors slipped 1-3% each.

On the other hand, Tata Communications rallied over 3% to $19.47. Wipro and Dr.Reddy's advanced over 2% each to $7.59 and $9.92, respectively.
