The US markets slipped on Tuesday on fresh economic concerns following poor retail sales for the month of March. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 138 points to 7,920. The Nasdaq shed 28 points at 1,626.
Indian ADRs too ended with significant losses. Satyam slumped over 11% to $2. ICICI Bank plunged 4% to $16.95. Sterlite and Wipro tumbled 3.5% each to $8.28 and $8.44, respectively. Patni Computers declined 3% to $6.45. Infosys, Genpact and Dr.Reddy's were down around 2.5% each.
Tata Communications however gained 3.5% at $23.75, and MTNL moved up nearly 2% to $2.91.
