Wall Street opens flat after run-up

US stocks opened little changed on Monday after equities posted their best week in a month as the Eurozone debt crisis and the economy showed signs of stabilising.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 4.47 points, or 0.04%, at 12,716.01. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index shed 0.14 points, or 0.01%, at 1,315.24. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 0.63 points, or 0.02%, at 2,786.07.
