Weakness continues... Sensex down 450pts

Weakness contiues, and the Sensex is now down 450 points at 10,233.

TCS and Reliance Communications has slumped almost 8% each to Rs 517 and Rs 238, respectively.

Tata Steel, Mahindra & Mahindra and Bharti have tumbled around 7% each to Rs 259, Rs 381 and Rs 675, respectively.

Tata Motors, Grasim and Maruti have plunged around 6% each to Rs 233, Rs 1,138 and Rs 638, respectively.

NTPC, Wipro and Sterlite have shed 5.5% each at Rs 144, Rs 280 and Rs 279, respectively.

Reliance and ICICI Bank have slipped over 5% each to Rs 1,325 and Rs 409, respectively. Larsen & Toubro has declined nearly 5% to Rs 820.

Jaiprakash Associates and Satyam are down around 4.5% each at Rs 75 and Rs 304, respectively.

ITC, however, has gained 3% at Rs 174.
