Weakness persists; DLF, Tata Steel down 10%

The Nifty is down 186 points at 3,908.

DLF and Tata Steel have slumped around 10% each to Rs 381 and Rs 668, respectively.

Reliance Infrastruture and ICICI Bank have plunged over 9% each to Rs 716 and Rs 565, respectively.

Ambuja Cements and Jaiprakash Associates have shed 7.5% each at Rs 70 and Rs 134, respectively.

Reliance Communications and HDFC have dropped 6.5% each to Rs 391 and Rs 1,908, respectively. TCS has slipped nearly 6% to Rs 826.

Out of 2,485 stocks traded so far, 1,906 have declined, 521 have advanced and 58 are unchanged.
