Zinc rises 0.4% on overseas cues

Zinc futures for April up by 350 paise, or 0.35%, to Rs 100.70 per kg in 2,103 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the May contract rose by 35 paise, or 0.34%, to Rs 102.10 per kg in 277 lots.

Prices edged up as speculators created positions amid firm spot market demands.
