Ferrari returns to India

Ferrari has made a comeback as it has appointed two new dealers, one in Delhi and the other in Mumbai. The Delhi dealership is Select Cars Private Limited and it is located on Mathura Road, while the Mumbai dealer will be Navnit Motors, with the dealership in Andheri West.

Ferrari enjoys a passionate and enthusiastic following in India and is firmly committed to providing a class-leading sales and after-sales service in the country. To underline that commitment, Ferrari has appointed a new dedicated sales and service centre in both Delhi and Mumbai.

Last April, Ferrari and their former distributor for India Precision Cars discontinued their tie-up and now the Italian carmaker has officially made its way into India. The new Ferrari dealers will be under the official Ferrari umbrella. There were issues due to service issues and Ferrari had to pull itself to avoid any kind of damage to its reputation in India. Ours is a promising market and there is a potential for sports and super cars in India.

Navnit Motors Pvt. Ltd. will be located at C Wing, Waterford Bldg, C D Burfiwala Road (Juhu Galli), Andheri (W), Mumbai 400058. The press note also stated that Ferrari has taken the opportunity of writing to all its clients individually to inform them of the new structure in this important market. So, all the existing Ferrari models will be sold through these dealerships. The 458 Italia, 458 Spider, Ferrari FF, F12 Berlinetta, California T and limited editions like the La Ferrari. There is no mention of the company's future plans or which all other cities will Ferrari be looking at to open more dealerships.
