TVS Motor has been due to launch two new bikes for the last six months, however it will be introducing them in this coming financial year. The Victor will be an all-new bike as this will be based on a new platform and this is likely to be 110cc bike. The Victor has been bread-and-butter bike for TVS. This will be the companys next-generation Victor, which should revive the sales for TVS. This is the executive segment bike.

The other launch for this year is the new Apache, which will again be a new bike. This will again be an all-new platform. We arent sure what engines will come in the Apache, but it is expected to the same 160 and 180cc single cylinder engines. TVS will also be upgrading its existing Scooty Pep this year.

We will launch new products to enhance our top line and market share. We plan to strengthen our Phoenix range of product and will introduce a new product in this category, said President and Chief Executive KN Radhakrishnan about six months ago during a press conference.

On again contacting the company officials we learnt that TVS will be launching two bikes, one in the executive segment and the other is the higher cc motorcycle, which is exactly what our sources have confirmed. The TVS-BMW K03, which is the 300cc bike will be launched in calendar year 2016. There is still some time for this bike to be launched and there is no clarity on which showrooms will be selling these bikes.
