At least one person died and five people have been injured in a train accident here in Catalonia on Tuesday morning.
Sputnik reported that the last two carriages of a commuter train travelling from Sant Vicenç de Calders to Barcelona got derailed near Vacarisses, a small village in the province of Barcelona.
Other trains travelling between Terrassa and Manresa have been temporarily stopped.
Rescue teams, fire brigades, and medics have already started working at the scene.
The General Directorate of Civil Protection took to Twitter, saying, "One person has died, six more have been injured".
The accident occurred at 6.15 a.m. in the morning owing to a landslide. Heavy rains in Catalonia since several days are the cause of this landslide.
