The Nevada Police arrested a suspect for shooting at a Mormon church in Fallon, which left one dead and one wounded.
A spokeswoman for the City of Fallon, Kaitlin Ritchie, informed the Fox 13 that the shooting took place in front of the congregants during a service at the church.
The suspect has been identified as 48-year-old John Kelley O'Connor, who was a member of the church and had been attending services prior to the shooting.
As per a local daily, the Fallon Police Chief Kevin Gehman said that the suspect fired several times and then walked to his home, which is right across the street.
O'Connor surrendered before the police officers after the authorities called his house and asked him to do so.
The purpose for the shootout is not yet known, however, the investigators have added that the attack appears to be directed at an individual.
