At least 11 people have died in a fire at a luxury hotel in Karachi on Monday.
Media reports and police also said that dozens have been injured in the blaze that broke out on a ground floor kitchen of the Regent Plaza hotel and trapped guests in upper floors.
According to the Dawn, the hotel has more than 400 rooms and that at least 65 persons had been injured in the blaze.
Local reports said the fire was contained by 9:30 a.m. Further details are awaited.
