Nearly 14 people were killed and 32 injured after a suicide bomber blew himself up in a madrassa in Peshawar.
The blast destroyed the interiors of the Hussaini madrassa inside which people were preparing for Friday prayers at that time.
According to the Express Tribune, the bomber was shot at by police while he was trying to enter the madrassa through the main entrance along with his two accomplices.
He, however, managed to enter the madrassa through a second gate and blew himself up, while the other two escaped.
The injured were shifted to a nearby local hospital and security forces sealed area.
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain have condemned the attack.
