The Punjab police yesterday seized Rupees twenty five lakh in the denomination of Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 500 in new currency from two persons in Muktsar.
Those carrying the cash however, could not produce any document and details of the cash.
Meanwhile, the police informed the seizure to the Income Tax officials.
