A new study has found that many strained employees are more likely to reach for a bottle of wine on Wednesday evening at 6.55 pm, than any other time of the week.
However, women are most likely to reach for wine at 7.07pm.
The research also revealed that people were more drawn to red wine, with 37 percent of those polled saying that they preferred it to white or rose, the Daily Express reported.
The study also discovered that 76 percent of people prefer to drink at home.
2,000 adults were interviewed, with regard to their wine habits, for the Beverage bottler Cobevco.
