Beating all odds, a 98-year-old man has cleared the Masters in Economics examination from Patna's Nalanda Open University (NOU).

Raj Kumar Vaishya passed the MA (Economics) examination with a second division.

"Finally, I have fulfilled my long cherished dream. Earlier I could not achieve what I wanted to due to the responsibilities of children," Vaishya told the media.

"But now all my children are settled so I can achieve all my unfulfilled dreams," Raj Kumar said.

Raj Kumar's family was visibly happy with his success.
