The Aam Admi Party (AAP) on Thursday expressing astonishment over its failure in the MCD Polls asserted that it was surprised as to how people of Delhi could choose the Bharatiya Janata Party inspite of no development having taken place for the last ten years.
AAP leader Somnath Bharti told media, "It is very surprising how people of Delhi could choose the BJP as its mandate inspite of no development in the Municipal Corporation Department for last ten years."
He further claimed that people from his constituency have promised to give him affidavits stating that they had voted for the AAP.
The AAP leader has alleged that despite the Supreme Court's order to use VVPAT machines, the Election Commission had used Electronic Voting Machines.
