The mudslinging between Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) escalated further on Friday, with the latter saying that they got vague responses over their allegations regarding corrupt activities in the DDCA when Jaitley was its president.
"We raised the issue of corruption that has taken place under the Finance Minister in the DDCA. The BJP is not answering those allegations; rather they are giving vague responses. We want to inform the BJP that we are not interested in all these puns," AAP leader Sanjay Singh told the media here.
"We want to ask, that according to the SFIO report, the allegations levelled against the finance minister, what is your answer to that? We want to know what is your response on the report of the fact is finding allegations of corruption in DDCA? We want to know your response on the allegations made by the committee of two judges which pointed out the irregularities in selection of players on DDCA?" he added.
AAP leader Ashutosh said that 'Finance Minister Jaitley is a master of half truths, masterful lies'.
"Why were contracts given to front companies of DDCA office bearers? Why was a corporate box given to a company whose director is a relative?" asked AAP leader Ashutosh.
