Shahnawaz Pradhan, who played the Jamat-ud-Dawa (JUD) chief Hafiz Saeed in the Saif Ali Khan starrer 'Phantom', has reportedly gone underground due to security reasons.
A spokesperson of the film said that the security of all actors is extremely important to them, and now that Pradhan's identity has been revealed all precautionary measures are being taken, reports the Dawn.
The issue assumed hype when the 45-year-old actor said in a statement that he has lost faith in Pakistan.
Directed by Kabir Khan, the counter-terrorism drama film also stars Katrina Kaif.
