Pakistan veteran all-rounder Shahid Afridi said that the Misbah-ul-Haq led team has the ability and confidence to break the World Cup jinx against defending champions India in the much-anticipated upcoming clash at Adelaide on Sunday.
India have defeated Pakistan in all the five World Cup outings - in 1992, 1996, 1999, 2003 and the 2011 semifinal.
The flamboyant batsman said his team was not disheartened by their poor record against India in the World Cup, adding that they had the confidence and the ability to surprise any team on any given day, the Dawn reported.
Afridi added that thought the upcoming contest against arch-rivals India would be a crunch game, they are planning to treat it as just another game.
