Liverpool FC star Ian Rush's girlfriend, Carol Anthony, has revealed that the 22 year age gap between them isn't a problem.
The 30-year-old Irish model said that she had followed his soccer career as a kid and he has always been a Liverpool fan, the Mirror reported.
She said that she doesn't see an age gap, though she did once or twice when they first got together but doesn't any more and is trying to stop her ageing process but she thinks Rush looks better than ever.
Anthony, who was blamed for the end of Rush's 25-year marriage to Tracy in 2012, insisted that she's not a wannabe WAG, but instead is a strong, independent woman who doesn't need anyone to support her.
She added that they have been together for 18 months, but she isn't a little girl and not dazed by what is going on.
