Deepika Padukone offered prayers at the Siddhivinayak Temple here on Tuesday.
Clad in traditional attire, the 32-year-old took the blessings of Lord Ganesha for her upcoming controversial film 'Padmaavat'.
The actress has often been spotted at the temple before the release of her films.
Starring Deepika, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles, the flick has run into trouble time and again, as members of several Rajput factions have accused director Sanjay Leela Bhansali of distorting history.
The magnum-opus is based on 16th-century Sufi poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi's epic poem 'Padmaavat'.
It is all set for a worldwide January 25 release in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
