Eager shoppers lined up outside the stores hours in advance for the shoes which retail for 185 dollars, the Huffington Post reported.
According to USA Today, last week, customers even broke down a glass door outside a Champs Sports in order to get advance vouchers for the limited-quantity shoe.
Nike Air Jordans have a long history of causing trouble on launch day.
