AIR to today launch multimedia website, mobile app of its Baluchi services

All India Radio will on Friday evening launch a multimedia website and a mobile application of its Baluchi services.

It is aimed at making the contents and programmes of Baluchi language available at multimedia platforms for easy access of listeners and create a global audience.

Prasar Bharti Chairman Dr. A Suryaprakash will launch the services.

External Services Division (ESD) of AIR broadcasts one hour programme in Baluchi language every day, which includes news also.

This service was started in 1974. ESD presently broadcasts daily in 57 radio transmissions covering over 108 countries in 27 languages.
