Airstrike kills 8 Taliban militants
At least eight Taliban insurgents were killed in the airstrike conducted by foreign forces in Urozgan province.
The Tolo News quoting the Urozgan Police Headquarters on Saturday said the strike was conducted in the Zabzak area in Tarinkot.
Taliban commander Mullah Qasim was among those killed in the airstrike and three other insurgents were also injured in the strike, the statement added.
Taliban has not made any comments on the incident so far.
