Bollywood actor Salman Khan might be facing a lot of flak for being appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador to represent the Indian contingent at the Rio Olympics 2016, but it looks like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is holding his back.
During the unveiling of L'Oreal's Cannes 2016 collection, the 42-year-old actress was questioned regarding the controversy. To which she replied, "Anybody who is doing good to represent the country and anybody who is working or seeking or standing out for whatever vocation we have in the country be it sports, arts or music, I think that's wonderful and needs to be recognized."
As far as Cannes Film Festival is concerned, Aishwarya will be gracing the event on May 13-14th, while actress Sonam Kapoor will be present on May 15-16th.
