Like father, like son is a known phase, but Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor's daughter Sonam Kapoor says that she always wanted to be like her father.

During the launch of album 'Mere Papa,' the 30-year-old actor revealed that her personality is like her father's and this sometimes irritates her mother.

It was previously revealed that Sonam's mother was not so keep about making her an actress. Talking about the same, the 'Neerja' star said, "My father was very keen on me becoming an actress after I studied, but my mother was not keen at all. So my father is very scared of my mom so that's why he was also not keen."

"My mom wanted me to complete my studies and I wanted to get into acting, but my father is the one who has supported me and encouraged me the most including my mom through my career. I have been working since I was 21, I started assisting when I was 17-18. They have always supported me no matter what time in night I came back home, how many hours I worked, never questioned me once about it," she added.
