Amanda Bynes allowed supervised outings in rehab

Amanda Bynes has been allowed to leave the rehab premises twice a week, according to reports.

According to FOX411, Amanda has been given the two passes to go out to the beach or to eat and do similar things under the supervision of a professional handler as she is making great progress, Contactmusic reported.

The 'She's the Man' star, who was diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, was moved to The Canyon treatment facility in Malibu in September end, after spending two months at UCLA Medical Center.
